Homepage:
- to start this page I wanted a Welcome message to allow students to feel like they came to the right place and to created a homely tone.
- this is a rough layout of how the opening page will look. Throughout the design; the navigation, header and footer will not change its place this theme will stay the same. Only main changes are the graphics I've choosen and the background colour; this page is a peach colour with the use of a paint splat! The aim of the background was to give a new experience feel in terms of you would decorate your home to suit your style and preferences. I believe it would work nicely with the tone of United! with the agencies main goal as "bringing students together."
About Us page:
- for this page; I want to inform students of the necessary information like 'what we're about', 'where we are located' and 'what we have to offer'.
- for the graphics on this page; I decided to use an image of where the agencies if based eg. near the Gherkin. and also to provide a 'Find Us' map. To created this I used Adobe Flash and designed a button which when you move the mouse over the image, an address will appear for students to visit or even contact. I did want to include a google link but thought to keep the design simple.
The colour of this page has been changed and again sticking with the pastel tone; I've used a light pink in the background but keeping the background as a paint splat as well. Properties page:
- the purpose of the properties page is to show students and parents what is available on the market for areas in London. I was going to give the website more areas to search like Manchester, Sheffield etc. but on the basis of time keeping I decided to just make this a local London estate agency but offering a range throughout London offering a range of 24properties.
- on this page there isn't much in terms of graphics but I have selected specific images. I chose an image reel at the bottom which allows viewers to see what the accomadation looks like and the features. Down the right-hand side is the address and option to 'Book a Viewing'. I missed out a link underneath the image reel which was a 'next >' option; to look at other properites in the area etc.
As you can see the background of this one is all light blue; with the title "Homes4u"Final Outcomes:
- from creating my website in Dreamweaver and successfully publishing it to the internet; I have saved a link on my blog main page and you can access the live feed. But before I did that I screenprinted my final designs and here they are below!
Contact Us page;
- was created as a hyperlink to an email service: to which if you clicked the navigation option this mini box would appear and you could contact the Estate agents and tell us your enquiry.
