Lanikai Properties
Lankai Properties is an American real estate website I came across in my research and I thought the layout and overall tone of the site worked really well with both a mixture of successful features in terms of graphics and information. The grid is quite simple to work out but if I were creating a similar styled website I believe it would be difficult to place each feature correctly in proportion.
Imdb
The Internet Movie Database (imdb) is frequently used by me who is particularly interested in the latest film releases and who will be starring in that film. So, I believe this website works well because it is very informative and well structured. As you can see from the screenprint; the website 'grid' is easy to duplicate and is neatly contained which works better than the previous example.

Similarly to the previous website; the rightmove 'grid' is also well structured and easy to determine where each individual container would go and how you would produce this in Dreamweaver etc. The only criticism I would make is the bottom section(s) as it might be hard to seperate, and I may possibly alter the information into two boxes instead of the current layout.

Google is he most well-known website both here and internationally; so it is commonly used but from the underlying 'grid' what is not working is all the sections for various information. However, there is an option available, where if you dont want to view certain info. then you can delete individual sections to just show your specfic interests. The gird is not too complicated but maybe to harsh on the eye for where to look for viewers preferences.
